Webb City students demonstrate consistent strength in Science across elementary, middle school, and high school. From 2022–2025, Webb City students scored above the Missouri average in all 12 Science testing comparisons across 5th Grade Science, 8th Grade Science, and Biology.

Fifth-grade Science has been a particular strength, with more than half of students scoring Proficient or Advanced in both 2022 and 2023. In 2025, Webb City reached 48.3% Proficient or Advanced compared with 42.3% statewide.

Middle school Science has also remained above state performance. In 2022, 50.0% of Webb City eighth graders were Proficient or Advanced compared with 37.7% statewide, a 12.3 percentage-point advantage.

Biology shows notable long-term improvement. Webb City increased from 41.2% Proficient or Advanced in 2022 to 46.0% in 2025, while remaining above Missouri's rate each year. The district's strongest Biology result during this period was 49.2% in 2023, compared with 38.5% statewide.
