General Health Information
It is important for parents or guardians to inform the school nurse of special health conditions that may be a concern or necessitate emergency care at school. Examples of special health conditions are allergies, asthma, diabetes, and seizure disorders. Current signed healthcare provider orders and a signed release of information will be required each school year to assure quality healthcare for students needing skilled nursing services at school. School nurses will share information that constitutes an emergency at school or impact a child’s education with other Webb City R-7 School staff member on a need-to-know basis. PARENTS MUST LEAVE A PHONE NUMBER AND/OR EMERGENCY CONTACT WITH THE SCHOOL IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY.
