Welcome to Cardinal Camp

We are so excited to have your child attend summer school! We have some fun activities planned for your student. We will be taking three field trips during summer school. We will have attendance prizes for our students at the end of summer school, fun Friday activities, water day activities, and some guest speakers. Parent Transport Reminders

FIRST GRADE AND SIBLING SETS will follow the path of the ORANGE arrows, going north along Webb Street and then turning right onto Vine Street. The student will enter at the front door shown with the RED STAR until 8:05. After 8:05, ALL students must use the front door entrance. During drop-off and pick-up times, Vine Street will be a ONE-WAY street between Webb Street and Main Street. We ask that you please pull forward to the orange cone to allow as many cars as possible to pull up next to the sidewalk. Students should exit the car on the driver’s side, and staff will be there to direct them safely into the school. At the end of the day, staff will be present to supervise students getting safely to their cars.
SECOND AND THIRD GRADE will follow the path of the BLUE arrows, going north along Liberty Street and then turning right onto Vine Street. You will enter the marked lane leading to the FEMA shelter entrance. We ask that you please pull forward to the orange cone to allow as many cars as possible to pull into the car lane where students can exit. Students will exit their car on the passenger side, and staff will be there to direct them safely into the school, at the entrance marked with the PURPLE STAR until 8:05. After 8:05, ALL students must use the front door entrance. At the end of the day, staff will be present to supervise students getting safely to their cars.
Cardinal Camp Reminders
- We have free lunch and breakfast.
- Your student is welcome to bring a water bottle (recommended).
- Students should wear tennis shoes (recommended), we play outside a lot!
- If your child’s prone to restroom accidents, please send extra clothes.
- Due to allergies, we are unable to accept snacks for birthdays.
- If you are picking up siblings/multiple children, please use the front entrance.
- If your student is late, please come in and sign them in.
- Call by 1:30 pm to make changes to end-of-the-day transportation.
- A parent/guardian must be at the bus stop for a child to be dropped off.
- You must have a CAR TAG or come in and show ID when picking up a student.
- Doors open at 7:30 and dismissal starts at 2:40.
