Reflections:
BOY: Our district is an active member of the Success-Ready Student Network (SDZ Cohort 2). Over the past several years, we have engaged in professional learning focused on Real World Learning and its positive impact on student success beyond high school. As a result, we spent two years collaboratively developing our Portrait of a Cardinal, outlining the competencies and dispositions we expect all Webb City students to demonstrate. We have begun tracking Market Value Assets (MVAs), increasing opportunities for students to explore a variety of career pathways, and expanding partnerships with local businesses to support authentic learning experiences. Webb City Cares continues to play a key role in strengthening communication and collaboration with our business and community partners.
