Quarterly ----- |
|
Use PLCs and the RTI framework to identify students in need of numeracy-targeted interventions aligned to priority standards, and implement supports while monitoring student response. |

Monthly ----- |
|
Provide ongoing professional development on evidence-based numeracy strategies, differentiation, and responsive instruction, and evaluate its effectiveness through teacher feedback, classroom implementation, and student growth data. |

Supporting Data:
- District Board of Education Data Packet
- Building Data Sheets
- Academic Vocabulary and Effective Questioning PD
- Everyday Math Training K-6
- Open Up Training 7-8
- PLC Meetings at each building
Performance Measures:
- Summative and benchmark assessments show proficiency in numeracy skills (BOY, MOY, EOY, end of unit).
- Percentage of students demonstrating growth between benchmark administrations.
- Reduction in the percentage of students performing below grade level.
- Progress monitoring data reflects the effectiveness of RTI interventions.
- Teacher surveys show increased confidence and use of numeracy strategies.
Fidelity Measures:
- Observation and walkthrough data confirm fidelity of Tier-One instruction.
- PLC documentation shows consistent use of assessment data to guide instruction.
- Records confirm timely administration of assessments and interventions.
- PD attendance and follow-up implementation checks are documented.
Reflections:
BOY: Last year, we relaunched Everyday Math in grades K–4 to strengthen Tier 1 math instruction. Following our comprehensive math curriculum audit, we adopted Everyday Math for grades 5–6 and Open Up Resources for grades 7–8 to ensure a cohesive, standards-aligned instructional sequence across the district. In response to a steady decline in student math performance, the audit also resulted in the development of districtwide instructional non-negotiables, with a renewed focus on ensuring fidelity of implementation in all classrooms. A key districtwide non-negotiable moving forward is the daily integration of math fact fluency practice. This expectation will be implemented across all grade levels to support foundational skill development and improved student outcomes.
